I was excited to see that the carpet at the Downside Community and Learning Centre on the Isle of Wight is the same pattern as this one.
Spent yesterday on the Isle of Wight having arrived there courtesy of Wightlink.
Kevin and I spent the last day of the big Jubilee weekend taking a walk from Chilworth to Dorking. We stopped in The White Horse in Shere. Nice, flowery carpet in the area next to the bar. It looks like it wants to be a William Morris design. The food? Well, the food was adequate. To The William Bray next time.
I visited the motherhouse of the Sisters of Mercy in Merion, Pennsylvania last week. I’ve been going there, though infrequently, since I was a small child. The grandeur of the place always impresses.
